Alex Hanshaw, Vice President of Engineering at Actian, is responsible for overseeing the global development and implementation of the technical strategy for Ingres, Actian X, OpenROAD, Vector, NoSQL, and Enterprise Access. Alex has more than 20 years of experience building innovative solutions to help customers solve their most complex business challenges. His strong focus on the continuous improvement and quality of products throughout their entire lifecycle helps customers ensure their technology investments easily adapt to future needs.

Doug Dailey

Director of Product Management, Actian

Doug Dailey is the Director of Product Management for Actian’s cloud and on-premises databases, tools, and connectivity solutions, including Ingres. Doug has 15 years of experience building solutions that help customers win. Prior to Actian, Doug was a product manager at IBM, specializing in data virtualization and data platforms driven by data hub, data mesh, and data fabric topologies. Doug helped steer technology investments in IBM Netezza and Pure Data for Analytics, IBM DB2 Replication, and IBM Informix. Doug began his career in technical support and later transitioned to Technical Account Manager and Customer Support Manager roles.
